The local college holds an unparalleled reputation for providing skilled technicians and apprentices for the engineering and related skills supply chains which has contributed to a modernisation and diversification of the skills base and economy. This combination of the existing business base, the strength of the local energy supply chain coupled with the ability and capacity for skills transfer into the renewable energy supply chain gives Fraserburgh a competitive edge.
